C3 – East Place Studios

C3 is a ground floor studio in an oblong shape.

There is natural light via skylights across most of the ceiling area, and standard strip lighting.

The nearest large sink is along the corridor, a few studios away.

There is no central heating in C3, but you would be welcome to use an electric heater in cold weather.

All artists at East Place Studios have an equal say in how we run the space. Once we have a list of the artists that would definitely like a specific studio we send out the information you have submitted (including the images) to the group and gather votes. We are looking for artists that will be able to make best use of the space, that will benefit from affordable space to progress their practice, and that will enjoy working alongside other artists. (i.e. We are not judging the art itself!)

For this round of applications, the key dates are (all 'end of day'):

Expression of interest deadline: Fri 2nd August

Potential artists submit a definite 'Yes' (or keep me on list for next time etc.): Sun 4th August

Existing artists 'voting' period: Mon 5th - Tue 6th August

Potential artists informed of decision: Weds 7th August

Move in date / start of lease: morning of 1st September
