Studio 41, Persistence Works
The UK’s first purpose-built studio complex, Persistence Works is a landmark brutalist space designed for production. Its 55 studios support heat, fire and light-industrial processes, alongside shared facilities including silversmithing workshops, a gas-fired kiln and a garden. Work here and you join one of the largest creative communities in the UK.
The building is in Sheffield city centre, in the heart of the Cultural Industries Quarter. Our neighbours are Site Gallery, Showroom Cinema, Sheffield Docfest, BBC Radio Sheffield, Bloc Projects, GLOAM Gallery, and more. Our annual Open Studios event attracts almost 4,000 visitors.
Studio 41 is on the third floor. It has its own sink and a large window with panoramic city views. Access is 24/7 via keyfob and intercom security system, and our staffed office means we can receive deliveries on your behalf. Every floor has its own toilet and kitchen facilities which are cleaned regularly by our cleaner. Free Wi-fi is provided.
